It has officially been 3 months since June 1st. I’ve never felt better and more confident physically than right now. So here’s an update: I ended the “No Alcohol” streak. But all that means is that I drank alcohol — it doesn’t mean I go “drinking”. I still only drink water when I go out to the bars. The only time I drank was when I went to the wedding last weekend and had 3 beers and 2 shots. That’s all I had in the last 3 months.

I’m still doing Stronglifts 5×5. I have two weeks left on this program before the summer is officially over and I begin the Arnold Schwarzenegger routine.

  • Squats: 205
  • Overhead Press: 80
  • Bench Press: 120
  • Rows: 115
  • Deadlift: 170

My gym was closed for one week for repairs which was disappointing. During that week I focused on cardio and did a lot of running. I still feel like I made good progress and I’m looking forward to increased weights and strength. The difference between the way I was at the beginning of the summer and the way I am now is pretty significant. The pictures speak for themselves.
